Where do you even start when wedding planning and finding the perfect wedding suppliers in Lancashire and the North West?

Narrowing down a list of wedding suppliers can be overwhelming so that’s where myself and Little White Books come in to help!

With our years of experience individually and time working together, I wanted to share some of the best ‘styled shoots’ to not only inspire your wedding styling but also your wedding suppliers!

Wedding Inspiration in The North West

With some of the best wedding folk in the industry coming together to create and inspire you, this really is the only post you need to help you narrow down your ‘best of’ wedding supplier list!

Whether it’s trying out new things, getting ahead of the wedding trends or creating some new ones collaborating on styled shoots can be great for both supplier and the couple!

A ‘Styled Shoot’ is something that helps suppliers work together to get creative and inspire you with your future wedding planning.

If you know they’ve worked well together before then it helps ensure you’re picking the perfect ‘dream team’ for your wedding day.

So enjoy this wealth of wedding inspiration in the form of some of my personal favourite style shoots over the last few years.

AND be sure to follow the links to check out the suppliers who worked on it too…

70’s Inspired Roller Disco Wedding

This Little White Books styled shoot took place at Mitton Hall over in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

Over on their Facebook wedding planning community they ran a competition for a front cover idea. When one of their members suggested a roller disco I remeber commenting and saying I HAD to be on this shoot if it won, it was my FAVOURITE idea!!

And not only did this suggestion win, and I got to be on the team of suppliers, but the creative team involved outdid themselves on the shoot day.

Featuring hand-picked wedding suppliers around the North-West to create a 70s roller disco vibe. Think ‘Fame’, disco balls and some funky vibes.

The BIG Bridal Shoot at Alberts Standish

What a challenge it was to film ‘behind the scenes’ for this EPIC Little White Books shoot at Alberts Standish.

With one of the biggest lists of wedding suppliers to date, multiple styled set ups and models and different locations, this was non-stop!

Wedding suppliers came from all over Lancashire, Cheshire and Liverpool to help make this styled shoot a success.

The spaces at Alberts Standish are beautifully modern so the different styling really help inspire you to think differently about how to dress the space for your wedding.

I also LOVED the different styles of bridalwear and the new trend for sheer sleeves.

My favourite wedding dress may have to be the black one just for the incredible tulle ruffled skirt…

Pride x Palm Springs in Industrial Manchester

If you’re planning a colourful and vibrant wedding in the North West then this wedding styled shoot is for you!

Little White Books described it as a shoot that “combines the chic, colourful and modern style of Palm Springs with the celebration of love, happiness and inclusivity of Pride”.

Another group of hand-picked talented suppliers came together to turn Victoria Warehouse in Manchester into a stylish space to really inspire the LWB readers!

Here’s the ‘Behind The Scenes’ video that I captured from the day, showing off everyone doing their thing and the space looking amazing…

Award Winning, Experienced Wedding Supplier Inspiration

I’ve been filming weddings since 2010 and have had the pleasure of working at some of the best wedding venues around Lancashire, Cheshire and around the North West.

This experience has had me working alongside some of the best and even ‘Award Winning’ wedding suppliers too.

From wedding photographers to florists and stylists, we are really spoilt for choice with suppliers in the North West.

Little White Books has over 14 years of experience hosting wedding fairs all over the North West and multiple award-winning venues, as well as publishing two titles of wedding magazines, the annual Little White Books and Great Northern Wedding Venues magazines.

They also have an amazing Facebook community to help you with your planning too, The Online Wedding Fair!

Together we have a wealth of knowledge of the wedding industry, especially within the North West wedding community.

Collaboration and Inspiration

It may not be a ‘real wedding’ but these styled shoots allow your wedding suppliers to get creative together!

They can work on future trends, create trends of their own and inspire you to create ways to style your own wedding.

Seeing how suppliers work together on a styled shoot can also help you see the different ways a wedding venue space can be transformed.

From simple and stylish to alternative and unique, working with Little White Books we’ve tried it all!

Being able to get some of the best creative minds in the North West together is one of the best forms for collaboration to create inspiration for you!

Wedding Inspiration From The Very Best!

We are blessed with some of the best wedding suppliers in the North West and if you plan early enough, you’ll get your pick of them!

Hopefully these videos have inspired you to not only get creative with your own wedding styling but also find some amazing suppliers that would be perfect for your big day.

Seeing behind the scenes videos like this allow you to see not only how your favourite wedding suppliers work but also how they work together with others!

Picking The Very Best Team Of Wedding Suppliers

If these shoots have taught me anything, it’s that wonderful term ‘collaboration over competition’.

There really are SO many amazing wedding suppliers around Lancashire, Cheshire and beyond that you’re spoilt for choice.

For every type of supplier, be that a videographer or make-up artist or florist, you’ll find lots of different styles and approaches that it’s good to know how they’ll work with others.

Little White Books can help you handpick the perfect team for your day and I do hope these little videos of inspiration helped get the ball rolling.
