Browsholme Hall may have taken one of the top spots for ‘Best Lancashire Wedding Venue’ after Annabelle and Dean’s wedding.
As a wedding videographer based in Lancashire I am spoilt with lots of stunning locations nearby, but this one is extra special to film at.
Not only is the historic Grade I listed hall incredibly beautiful but the staff were so attentive on the day, it made an intimate wedding extra special.
The couple even had a very special ring barer in the form of a large and bouncy Bernese Mountain Dog called Bjorn!

Getting Ready With Your Best Friends…
I settled right in to Annabelle’s wedding morning as I’d had the pleasure of filming all the girls before at her Bridesmaid Ruth’s wedding (see her Wyresdale Park wedding here!).
It can make capturing those natural moments everyone loves much easier when everyone is already used to having me (and my camera) around!
There were lots of (sometimes random) tunes playing as the girls got ready in one of the Browsholme cottages. As well as twirly straws and tales from the hen do.
Dean soon arrived with his Brother and Bjorn, their gorgeous dog, to get ready for the wedding.
It took them a while to even get out of the car park due to all the attention Bjorn was getting!
Time To Get Married In The Tithe Barn
As much as they’d hoped for an outdoor ceremony by the Lily Pond, the weather was being too unpredictable so the staff set up the Tithe Barn ready for their intimate wedding ceremony.
Guests were seated facing a slightly nervous Groom as live music was performed by James Roscoe on piano.
Their gorgeous flower girl made quite the entrance throwing petals before Annabelle followed her Bridesmaids on the arm of her Dad.
As soon as he saw her he had to look away to take a breath…
A Simple Yet Stylish Wedding Reception at Browsholme
The couple kept things simple and small for their whole wedding day, with only their closest friends and family attending.
The Tithe Barn at Browsholme Hall may seem incredible in size but it really can make the perfect setting for a small, intimate day.
Guests enjoyed music on the patio whilst group photos were being done.
Then it was time for myself and their wedding photographer to sneak the couple away for some lovely shots of just the two of them.
We were spoilt for choice in the grounds of Browsholme Hall!
A Banquet Table Of Dreams
With the twinkling lights, candles and elegant florsitry the room looked like something from a movie.
Everyone commented on how amazing the barn looked having been turned around for the wedding reception.
Instead of the usual smaller tables, they created on larger banquet table and kept the lights low to create a really cosy feel.
With the help of Flower Design Events and Amore Design, they really did wow everyone as they entered!
The Fun of Wedding Speeches
I loved filming the speeches as everyone kept them really personal.
The couple even incorporated their ‘how we met’ story in to the celebrations with Tequila shots for everyone!
Making It A First Dance To Remember…
Now, if you’ve seen my wedding video from way back in 2009 you’ll spot we did a choreographed first dance.
Not ones to stand and sway, we wanted something more fun to show of to our guests in the evening.
I was made up to hear Annabelle and Dean planned to learn the dance to their chosen country song and knew it would be fun to film.
So after singing along to their good friend Pete singing ‘Simply The Best’ (The Schitts Creek version), it was on to their first dance.
Their smiles throughout were AMAZING and the Highlights only shows of a glimpse of how much fun they had showing off…

I know Annabelle and Dean booked me because they loved what I did for their good friends wedding a few years before.
