Lancashire Wedding & Family Videographer

Capturing genuine, honest and fun moments for the couples and families who don’t want to feel ‘weird’ in front of the camera…

Imagine if your best friend was a wedding videographer.

You would deffo book her, she would put you at ease,

you’d forget she was even the videographer and she would go the extra mile for you!

Well if your best friend isn’t a videographer Charlene can be and you will get all the benefits.”

“You captured loads of really lovely moments / interactions that I wasn’t really aware of at the time –

and I never realised I looked at my kids like I do!

We didn’t pull awkward faces because there was no telling us to sit and smile at the camera!”

A Little About Me, Your Wedding Videographer!

My name is Charlene (Charlie to my husband’s side of the family, for some random reason) and I live in a lovely Lancashire town called Burscough. A short train ride away from my favourite city, Liverpool!

I’m a friendly and passionate wedding videographer and I LOVE everything about what I do for all my wonderful couples all over Liverpool, Lancashire and around the North West of the UK.

From wedding advice and recommendations before the day, helping everyone with those pesky buttonholes through to keeping things calm and on schedule on your wedding day. I may film discreetly but I’m more than happy to step in and be hands on when needed!

From your first email to editing you the most beautiful wedding video, it’s all me. Meaning you’ll always get that personal touch.

I really do like to live up to the hashtag one of my Groom’s gave me ‘more than a wedding videographer’.

I also LOVE afternoon tea, 90’s pop music and Friends too much but don’t let that put you off…

Here are a few of my favourite Lancashire and North West wedding videos…

Wyresdale Park Wedding

Kath and Adam’s laid back Lancashire barn wedding at Wyresdale Park is perfect if you’d love to see a beautiful balance of fun and and emotion with a hint of romance.

With handmade, rustic details and elegant styling this wedding video is one to watch…

Mitton Hall Wedding

A really classic yet fun wedding video that includes cute dogs in bow ties, a beautiful church wedding ceremony in Great Harwood and then over to a fun-filled reception at Mitton Hall.

They kept things classic and elegant with a white and pale lilac colour scheme.

Thornton Manor – Lakeside Marquee

Laura and Alex’s summer wedding at Thornton Manor’s Lakeside Marquee was full of pretty personal details and stunning styling!

But, it’s the love and laughter than make this wedding video the one to watch…

Eaves Hall Wedding

Shona and Mattijhs kept things classic with their beautiful, elegant summer wedding at Eaves Hall.

A stunningly simple wedding dress, cream and white flowers and traditional morning suits kept this classic but they put their own stamp on things with their fun and vibrant personalities that kept everyone laughing and smiling all day…

Briars Hall Wedding

Lisa and Andy wanted to celebrate all things local with their wedding so along with choosing their local church in Burscough they also held their reception down the road at Briars Hall (and hired me!).

This is eveything I love about weddings, totally fun yet laid back and enjoying celebrating with the people you love (complete with lots of entertaining surprises too!).

“You, and the wedding film, are incredible.

We have cried every time.

We are both filling up now as I type.

We absolutely love it and feel like you have captured our day in the most wonderful way.”

Imagine having a wedding or family videographer who is as excited as you are about capturing those natural, candid moments?

Someone who’s eager to capture all those genuine moments during your wedding or family session in such a friendly and discreet way that despite feeling so nervous about being in front of the camera you’re left feeling like you’re not being filmed at all.

I know it’s hard to even imagine as I had exactly the same worries and it’s why I work so hard to ensure you’ll forget why you felt so nervous in the first instance!

Love Gets Sweeter Wedding Videography is all about standing out from the usual ‘traditional’ or ‘cinematic’ wedding films and videos.

It’s all about you. Your personalities, your love, your connections and all the moments in-between. Seeing those back after the wedding or family session will give you all the butterflies for years to come.

I’m always looking for those real moments you all have, the laughter, cheeky winks and smiles and the excitement you’re feeling.

I blend in like a friend who’s being welcomed in to your home or your wedding, being super discreet and friendly allows me to capture those moments when everyone is relaxed and totally unaware.

Nothing about my style of wedding and family videography is posed or forced so there’s no pressure on you guys to ‘perform’ for my camera.
