I have had the pleasure of working with so many talented wedding suppliers that I just have to share some of my favourite!
Everyone knows how important it is to get the right professional photographer for you. Below you will find a selection of my favourite wedding photographers to work with. Not only are they really passionate about weddings and photography but they’re also amazing people to have there on the day!
Ahhh Lottie. She’s SO much fun to work with and we’ve got such a similar style that we get on famously. Her documentary style of photography helps her capture honest and relaxed wedding photographs, there’s always an element of fun in there and she really does get the best from her couples. On the day she’s the perfect blend of discreet and being able to hurry people for the group shots so we’re not all bored of waiting around! Check out her website, I know you’ll love what you see…
I’m a huge fan of Manchester based wedding photographer Mick Cookson. I had the pleasure of working with him way back in 2011 and have worked with him a few times since (he’s even photographed my sister in laws wedding!). His unobtrusive, documentary style of photography really complements our style of wedding films and make the perfect partner. If you prefer the idea of little to no direction or posing on your wedding day I would click on the image to see his work…
Kelly Clarke’s wedding photography speaks for itself. You don’t need me to tell you how incredibly talented she is or how how amazing I know your wedding photographs will be if you choose her. We’ve had the pleasure of working together loads now and she’s amazing to work with, brings out the very best in us all (and she’s fun too!). If that’s not enough to sway you then maybe if I tell you she’s the one that captures all our professional family photographs…? Yeah, she’s THAT good…
Mr Sleeve works discreetly on your wedding day, capturing stunning moments you don’t even realise are happening! We work well together as we both like to work away in the background but also make sure our couples feel comfortable around us, it helps us get the best, relaxed moments that way! We worked together on Charlotte and Tom’s wedding at Rookery Hall, you can watch that here!
Wedding Hair and Make-Up
Flossy and Leigh. What’s not to love about them? Getting to work with Phoebe and her team on the morning of the wedding is a real treat. Not only are they experts in their field and make every Bride and her bridal party look stunning but they make the whole morning sooooo fun. It really fills the wedding morning with excitement and giggles (and I sometimes even get some left over MAC shimmer on my eye lids too!). Flossy and Leigh are a UK multi award-winning Bridal Styling Company, based in the North West specialising solely in weddings. They even did the make-up and hair at my fabulous sister in law’s wedding at Mitton Hall!
I first knew of Michelle when obsessing over Nicola Grimshaw-Mitchell’s My Boudoir work. After having the pleasure of working alongside her on so many weddings I can’t help but to recommend her to everyone. She always makes her Bride’s look so elegant and timeless, her style completely professional and effortless. She’s a dream to work with (and she’s super nice too)! You can see her amazing work over on her make-up and hair website here.
Laurel Weddings are one of the very best wedding florists and they’re based in the north west! If you’re yet to find the perfect florist for your wedding then meeting with Laura is a must! She’s very similar to me when working on each wedding and takes pride in her work, being passionate about weddings and making sure the client has the best experience. Not only is her work gorgeous but I promise you’ll just adore Laura too…
‘A girl should be two things – classy and fabulous’. Coco Chanel. It’s certainly how I felt when I did my boudoir shoot with Nicola at My Boudoir, I felt like I was part of a Vogue photo shoot! Nicola and her make over team make you feel like a superstar and I have the photos to prove how amazingly talented Nicola is. Her boudoir photographs are stunning and glamorous, why don’t you click on the link to view her most recent boudoir beauties!
Alex Birtwell first impressed me signing at Shelly and Chris’s Deanwater Hotel wedding way back in 2013. He’s got everything to make your wedding extra special and makes the effort to fit with each wedding style, whether that’s fun and silly dancing or a more relaxed and chilled out affair. Even singing Bride’s down the aisle, having Alex there for the whole day adds that personal touch. He’s also really nice to work with (I guess you’re spotting that I only like to recommend nice people now…).
Great White Occasions is the company to contact if you’re looking for a really unique wedding transport idea. Their VW Campervan, Bruce, not only comes in the cutest colour combo of lilac and pale-yellow but it’s also been converted to allow for wheelchair access. Oh, and I should mention that the owners Emma and Daniel were my first ever Bride and Groom!!! You can see their wedding film here!
