West Tower is nestled away off a lovely, quiet lane just outside Ormskirk.
It’s only a few minutes drive for me to get to West Tower so it’s nice when I get to visit such a stunning local wedding venue.
This time it was for a beautiful vow renewal for Michelle and John who were married at West Tower 10 years earlier!
With an outdoor ceremony in the bright summer sunshine and lots to entertain their guests, this made for a fun Highlights video…

A Relaxed Wedding Morning
Michelle got to enjoy a really relaxed wedding morning with her best friend before being joined by her youngest Son.
I loved how they all kept sneaking looks out of the Bridal Suite window so see all the guests getting ready for the ceremony below!
An Outdoor Ceremony At West Tower…
West Tower has a beautiful outdoor ceremony setting in their gardens.
Michelle and John had lovely Lorraine (The Liverpool Celebrant) conduct their vow renewal in front of their wedding guests.
I loved how personal she made it and it certainly had everyone giggling!
They soon said ‘I do, again’ and walked back down the aisle to enjoy some drinks and canapes in the sunshine.
Up Close Magic With Zanda Magic!
Guests (and myself included) were then wowed by the amazing Zanda Magic.
I found myself following him around as not only were his performances something else, the guests reactions to them were priceless!
I’m now trying to work out if I can find an excuse to hire Zanda Magic for one of our own celebrations as he was one of the best magicians I’ve seen at an event!
Sneaking In Time For Some Couple Portraits…
Their talented photographer Rachel Clarke and I snuck them off for a few minutes to capture some couple portraits in the West Tower gardens.
As much as I could have shared them trying to be all romantic, it’s the bits where they’re making each other laugh that I love the most!
Time For The Speeches!
It may have been a vow renewal and not their wedding but Michelle and John still made time for some wedding traditions too!
The speeches had lots of people cheering as they proudly celebrated their lives together and their two Son’s.
A First Dance At West Tower (With Take That!)
They hadn’t officially planned a first dance but when their Take That tribute band ‘Never Forget’ started up, they couldn’t help have a dance!
Guests soon joined them singing and swaying along as they belted out their best hits…
A Personal Vow Renewal Celebration!
If you’re lucky enough to be married and there’s a big milestone coming up, I think vow renewals and a celebration of your love are an amazing thing to do.
Marriage is the hard part compared to a wedding so there’s certainly more to celebrate after 10/20/50 years together!
West Tower was a gorgeous setting for Michelle and John to renew their vows, I hope more follow in their footsteps!
