Where do I even begin when gushing about Jane and Tom’s incredible wedding day?
Maybe I start with telling you about their wonderfully kind and welcoming family and friends?
Or maybe their cute village wedding vibes getting married in Jane’s parents church and enjoying canapes at their village hall?
Though I think a highlight for me was filming everyone dancing their hearts on in the evening.
Every single part of their wedding day over in the Wirral made me smile and I’m pretty sure you’ll be grinning along too.
It was an absolute pleasure to be their wedding videographer…
A Village Wedding Highlights Video
Filming A Relaxing Wedding Morning…
The sun was shining over the water in the Wirral for Jane and Tom’s summer wedding.
I arrived in the cute village of Burton, wandered past the village church and made my way down the lane to Jane’s parents house.
On arriving I was kindly offered a second breakfast and a cup of tea before starting to film Jane and her friends getting ready.
It was the perfect in the family home and Jane was bubbling with excitement, it was a joy to capture it all for them!
Getting Ready For The Church
Over at Tom’s, Paul was filming the Groomsmen ensuring everything looked perfect for him.
I don’t get to see any of his footage until I start the edit and I loved seeing how much Tom’s friends were looking after him.
From helping perfect the double Windsor tie to ensuring he was fluff free, they were on it!
One of my favourite things from the whole wedding day was how amazing their group of friends felt…Paul and I wanted to be their friends!
A Classic Village Church Wedding in Burton
The gorgeous village church in Burton is tucked away behind the cottages with a long, sweeping path to the main door.
Tom waited nervously as guests made their way to the pews.
Jane’s Dad, with ribbons skillfully tied on to his car, began making the journey up and down the lane to get the Bridesmaids to the church on time.
Last to arrive (obviously) was Jane and her Sister, linking arms with their proud Dad.
Locals waited by the church grounds to get a first look, just before she was ready to walk down the aisle.
We managed to film lots of loving glances and cheeky smiles during the traditional church service.
They were soon announced Husband and Wife and it was time to dance out the church, back in to the Wirral sunshine!
A Gladstone Village Hall Pit Stop
Guests enjoyed kisses and big hugs before making their way down the path to get ready for a really long confetti line!
The couple were all smiles as guests cheered and showered them in colourful dried petal confetti.
They then led their guests down the road to Gladstone Village Hall for some drinks and canapes.
A truly charming village hall, Gladstone Village Hall is nestled away in the picturesque village of Burton near Elmsmere Port and Neston.
So they could celebrate with everyone from the church they enjoyed a few canapes and drinks here before their more formal wedding reception.
The couple spent time catching up with everyone before being whisked away to their next venue, Inglewood Manor...
Being A Wedding Videographer at Inglewood Manor
It’s beautiful Grade II listed building in the Wirral/ Cheshire countryside.
The wedding venue boasts lots of character, as well as stunning grounds to enjoy with your guests.
It also makes a great setting for your couples portraits and family photos, as well as more relaxed wedding video footage!
Jane and Tom picked the wonderful Lowri Ellen Photography as their official wedding photographer.
She was a joy to work alongside and we loved getting creative together to capture shots for the photos and video.
You can see their ‘wedding preview‘ here, if you fancy seeing what she captured too!
It’s Time For The Wedding Speeches
Guests enjoyed the sunshine on the terrace before making their way back inside Inglewood Manor for the wedding breakfast.
With speeches being before the meal, the Father of the Bride has his projector all set up and ready to go.
We got a great insight to Jane’s childhood and her growing up.
Her Dad did make a few jokes but it was clear how proud he was of her.
Tom was next and have some fun tactics to keep the tears at bay!
Then it was on to his Best Man who did a great job at getting the whole room laughing at Tom’s expense.
It’s always a highlight filming the wedding speeches when they’re so personal!
A Romantic Stroll Around Inglewood Manor
With the sun about to dip behind the trees at Inglewood Manor, we snuck the couple off for some time to capture them together.
Not only does it make for some beautiful moments on the video, it also allows them some time to pause on such a busy day!
An Evening Of Dancing…
When I was editing their wedding highlights, one of the parts that stood out for me was the evening.
The day had run over slightly and that could’ve ruined the mood but it did quite the opposite!
I’ve not seen a wedding dancefloor that lively since Lindsay and Liam’s wedding (that because the wedding EVERYONE wanted to replicate, see that here!)
Watching it back brought me as much joy as it did filming it that day.
I do hope everyone crawled to bed all hot and sweaty after having the BEST time dancing all night!
