Whitley Hall Wedding Videography

Bringing with them a few North American and Canadian traditions, this stylish couple really added a bit of fun to their classic wedding at Whitley Hall near Sheffield.

Tamara clearly had an eye for details and had planned their wedding to perfection.

With lots of handmade details and a well thought out running order for the day, it was sure to run beautifully.

Sadly restrictions meant a few family members and friends were unable to fly over from the States and Canada but they made sure they were included in other ways. Making the wedding as special as it could be, despite it all.

Here’s a little insight in to Tamara and Mark’s outdoor wedding at Whitley Hall with a blog and their wedding highlights video…

Wedding Morning At Whitley Hall

As with most summer weddings in the UK a lot of us were on ‘weather watch’ in the hope the rain would hold off for the big day.

Tamara and Mark had dreams of a stylish outdoor ceremony within the grounds of Whitley Hall. Nestled within the stunning gardens it was the perfect romantic setting to say their wedding vows.

The bridal party got to enjoy the historic Wordsworth Room. With dark wood paneling and light spilling in from the tall windows it had a wonderfully English feel about it.

Their morning was calm and relaxed as they had their hair done and applied their own wedding make-up.

The Grooms party looked a little busier with lots of ironing and testing out their top hats…

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony At Whitley Hall

Whitley Hall, with it’s stunning gardens and 16th Century Country Mansion as a backdrop, is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

The rain held off long enough for guests to be seated around the pagoda and eagerly await the arrival of the Bride.

Mark looked super calm until the music started but he was soon fighting back the tears as he turned to see his Bride glide up the garden steps with her Mum and Dad.

Key Moments For The Wedding Videographers…

Even as an experienced wedding videographer this moment of the ceremony is the moment I put pressure on myself to capture well.

As a couple the moment of walking down the aisle really does go by in the blink of an eye. It’s near impossible to take it all in!

So having two videographers there to capture it for you to relive over and over…the best investment!

Oh and this couple opted to add a drone pilot to their wedding package.

Tom was on hand to capture Tamara’s walk down the aisle, along with some incredible footage of Whitley Hall, from the air to give a unique perspective…

Celebrating In Style At Whitley Hall

After a beautiful outdoor ceremony guests got to enjoy drinks and canapes around the gardens at Whitley Hall.

Being a smaller wedding it felt really relaxed despite the usual wedding ‘formalities’. Guests had to be quick with the canapes however as Whitley’s peacocks had their eye on them!

Whitley Hall Wedding Reception

Their talented wedding photographer Phil Sailsbury and I whisked them off for some couple shots around the gardens as the guests were seated in the Whitley Suite.

They got to enjoy a bit of time together and have a giggle just before the rain decided to come!

The new couple were announced in to the Whitley Suite and their guests cheered as they danced their way to the top table.

Speeches followed and it was lovely to hear such genuine and heartfelt words from their closest friends and family.

We got to experience the reception like a guest as we were treated to a full sit down meal too (thank you SO much Tamara and Mark)…

Evening Wedding Traditions

Guests enjoyed being able to freshen up in their rooms at Whitley Hall before heading back to enjoy all the evening celebrations.

There was the traditional cake cutting and first dance but they also added a few of their own.

From a Father and Daughter dance and a dance with her Mum, Tamara also teased Mark with a fun tradition of the ‘garter reveal’.

We said our goodbyes and left everyone enjoying the dancefloor…
