A little about me
Your Wedding Videographer in The Lake District!
My name is Charlene and I’m a Documentary wedding videographer who loves any excuse to explore The Lake District and keep an eye out for those REAL moments for you.
It’s all about being friendly and discreet, blending in like a friend (who happens to have lots of experience with a camera), capturing those moments you didn’t realise were being filmed.
Straight out of college and into Film and TV (you can find out more about that on my About Me page) it was actually editing my own Documentary-style wedding video in 2009 that started me on my wedding videography journey!
What couples love about my relaxed approach is the ability to anticipate those candid moments on the day without you being aware I was even filming!
I know some couples also connect with me on a deeper level, with our shared love of 90’s music and fancy bakeries, so you may catch me busting out some iconic dance routines or hoping for a piece of wedding cake before I leave!
From wedding advice and recommendations before the day, helping with those buttonholes and helping to keep things on track, I may film discreetly but I’m more than happy to step in if needed!
I really do like to live up to the hashtag one of my Groom’s gave me ‘more than a wedding videographer’.

I’ve been filming weddings since 2010 but before that I spent a few years in the fast paced Film and TV industry!

I’ll be filming as much as possible, regardless of the collection you choose. This takes the pressure off and gives you the flexibility to add extra edits on AFTER the wedding. It’s easier to know what you want to watch on your wedding video when you’ve actually experienced it!
