I’d had the pleasure of being a wedding videographer working alongside Jess as she assisted Ioan (Celynnen Photography) a few years before.
We all knew it would be amazing and worth the wait. You’d hand picked the best wedding suppliers around the North West and planned it to perfection!

Filming A Relaxed Wedding Morning
I arrived to the most relaxed and smiley Bride having her wedding make-up finished off. Her bridesmaid curled up in the comfiest armchair and a great playlist playing in the background.
It really was the perfect setting for a relaxed wedding morning at Inglewood Manor!
Jess and Chris opted to have me capture their day ‘solo’ which means I filmed all the days action alone. Ideal if you fancy something discreet, have a small wedding planned or your whole day is in one place like theirs was.
So although I didn’t get to film Chris getting ready at home in the morning, I did get to capture all the excitement building with Jess and her family before it was time to film them getting married…
An Inglewood Manor Wedding Ceremony
Inglewood Manor has a few options for your wedding ceremony. Jess and Chris opted for the really classic wooden panelled room within the Grade II listed Cheshire venue.
The natural light spills in from the windows and gives a beautifully soft light your wedding photographers and videographers will LOVE (me included!).
I loved seeing their beaming smiles from start to finish during their wedding ceremony, which obviously feature in their wedding video.
Lots of excited smiles, giggles and loving glances came from their guests too which was special to witness.
The venue requested they be showered in confetti as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife before heading outside for canapes and catch ups!
Inglewood Manor Wedding Videographer
Jess and Chris aren’t my first couple to choose Inglewood Manor as their dream wedding venue.
In fact, this year I ended up filming two weddings a week after each other. Their co-ordinator Steve recognised me straight away, maybe I should’ve asked to stay over instead of heading home haha.
Inglewood Manor over in Cheshire really is a beautiful choice for a wedding venue.
As a wedding videographer I love the setting and find it’s perfect for whatever the weather may throw at you (which helps in the UK!).
Formal Photos and Time Alone
After 12 years of being a wedding videographer my top tip still remains. Make time to be together, away from your guests!
The perfect opportunity to sneak off is to have some couples photos and video. Not only will you get some lovely moments of you both but after you can enjoy a few minutes together before returning to the wedding party excitement.
As a Bride myself all those years ago I totally credit this for helping us slow the day down a little. A way to hit ‘pause’ and help it sink in better!

Wedding Reception at Inglewood Manor
After sneaking in some cuddles and photos with Rosie their dog it was time to be seated in the Burton Suite for their wedding reception.
This bright space which opens out to the gardens at Inglewood Manor is a lovely, modern contrast to the classic ceremony room.
Guests were treated to the wedding speeches first, including a surprise video speech from Jess’s friend who couldn’t attend.
Evening Celebrations in Cheshire
As the sun set, Jess and Chris snuck out for some more photos with Ioan (and the change of custom bridal footwear) before returning to the evening party.
Guests got to enjoy being silly in the Lovely Booths photo booth before showing off their best dance moves on the dancefloor.
Both are so much fun to film. I think by this point people forget I’m there so I get to capture what they’re really like after a few beverages haha.
