Here is some Lake district wedding video loveliness for you!

Since moving ‘up north’ (I was born and raised in Nottingham, more on that over on my About Me page) I’ve loved day trips to the historic Cumbria, rain or shine it really is a beautiful part of the world. It really is the perfect setting for a wedding too, especially one like this…

A Fun and Laid Back Lake District Wedding Video

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was about filming this wedding, pretty much as soon as they booked me.

Not only because the venue and location was so incredibly beautiful but also because Sarah and Gerrard were just wonderful-and incredibly funny!

On the day we made the journey up to the lakes. I began my filming with the girls at The Hair Lounge and Beauty Rooms in Windermere and my assistant headed over to Gerrard…who was on his own as most of his Groomsmen were still asleep!!

Once the Bride starts getting ready the atmosphere really changes and it’s easy to get caught up in all the excitement. When her Dad came in to see her for the first time my heart melted as his face lit up. It’s so lovely to be able to capture those moments for someone and as a wedding videographer this is one of my favourites…

This wedding ceremony at Our Lady of the Wayside has got to be one of the funniest ceremonies I have ever had the pleasure of filming. The priest was a bit of a character and it was a delight to stand at the back and listen to all his stories and jokes.

It was the moment he forgot to get Sarah to give Gerrard his wedding ring that really tickled everyone there and was brilliant to watch that back on their wedding highlights video!

A bride and her bridesmaids hold each other shocked on a jetty in Lake Windermere after one of the bridesmaids nearly fell in due to her heel getting stuck and theyre laughing towards their wedding videographer

There are so many memorable moments, from the priest not being ready in time for Sarah’s arrival at the end of the aisle to him continuing the service leaving the bride and groom confused as to why they still had Gerrard’s wedding ring in the silver dish…you just need to sit back and enjoy the film (back at the top) so you can see why I fell in love with this wedding and this amazing couple!

If you’d like to see their longer ‘Feature’ wedding video then do get in touch, I’d be happy to send it over to you!
