I feel like I’ve been on the longest rollercoaster with Bobby and Dom during their wedding planning.

It’s been heartbreaking seeing things get taken out of their control and even the original venue tried to ruin their celebrations.

But love conquers all!

Is that in the Disney’s Robin Hood…?I can hear a little rabbit saying it followed by oo de lali..?! Anyway…

Despite Covid, venue cancellations and supplier struggles they finally got to say their vows in an intimate ceremony at St Helen’s Town Hall followed by a reception at the Galleria Restaurant.

There are plans afoot for a bigger celebration to come so for now, enjoy seeing these two finally say their vows and get married!!!

Bobby and Dom’s Wedding Highlights Video

Wedding Morning Nerves and Excitement

Filming Bobby and Dom getting ready in Liverpool really was the contrast!

Bobby enjoyed laughing with his friends as they enjoyed having their hair and make-up professionally done.

Dom was a little more nervous as enjoyed a quieter hotel room with his Dad as Groomsmen popped in and out.

They opted for matching suits with a beautiful purple waistcoat and shoes so shiny they were like mirrors!

Getting Ready For The Ceremony

After all the other changes to their wedding plans, jokes were made about the need for a disability bus due to so many guests being on crutches!

Dom made his way over to the Town Hall first along with the bus of guests before Bobby headed out in the rain with his Groomsmaids.

The lovely driver was on hand with huge umbrellas to ensure everyone made it inside the Town Hall as dry as they could be.

A Town Hall Wedding in St Helens

After the last minute changes, Bobby and Dom decided they still wanted to get married so the registrars booked them in for a Town Hall wedding in St Helens.

Dom walked down the aisle first with his Dad before turning to see Bobby make the journey with his parents.

During the vows the emotions got the better of Dom and he was swiftly passed a tissue!

They were soon announced as being married and they could both relax as they formally signed the register.

Their wedding singers, Jenn and Liv were incredible singing throughout and even back down the aisle!

Guests then greeted them with tons of confetti on the steps of the Town Hall before they snuck off some a few couples photos.

Jaine Briscoe-Price was their chosen photographer and she had them pose around the nearby gardens before we made our way to the Galleria for the reception.

An Intimate Reception at the Galleria Rainhill

Guests were already seated and enjoying the cosy surrounding at the Galleria when Bobby and Dom made their entrance.

They’d opted for a deep purple theme to match their wedding waistcoats and tie things together. Lots of little details made the day very them!

Everyone enjoyed a 3 course meal before the Best Man started the wedding speeches off.

It was clear everyone loved Bobby and Dom a lot and had so many kind words (and funny stories) to share about them.

There was even photographic evidence shared of Dom’s stag do fancy dress…

As they hope to enjoy more celebrations next year it was time to leave them and their guests to enjoy the relaxed evening and look forward to the big day next year!

An Honour To Be Their Wedding Videographer

Having been on this journey with Bobby and Dom over the last few years, it was a pleasure to finally get to film them getting married.

It may not have been the wedding they’d originally planned but they were so deserving of a wonderful celebration with their closest friends and family.

Being surrounded by so much love really makes my job so fulfilling so thank you Bobby and Dom for having me along to capture it all!
