Bride and Groom cuddle and laugh for the wedding photographer outside the striking black and white tudor style wall at the Hillbark Hotel in the Wirral

A Hillbark Wedding Photography Reshoot

After a disappointing wedding photography experience, this Wirral couple found healing through a stunning shoot at Hillbark Hotel. Read how it led to a career in wedding videography.

‘This’ Bride and Groom just happen to be myself and my Husband! Despite living over in Lancashire we opted to get married at The Hillbark Hotel over in the Wirral.

I cannot believe it’s been a year since we got to ‘re-shoot’ our wedding day with our favourite wedding photographers and I want to share a little more about how the ‘reshoot’ came about…

Couple Turn a Wedding Photography Nightmare Into a Positive Experience!

Evie and Jamie at Chapter Photography wanted us to have some images that we’d love after finding out all about our awful experience with our wedding photographer. In case you missed the story on that, do reach out and ask or check out the links to related blog posts below! In short, we had to get Trading Standards involved and seek legal advice when our own wedding photographer experience didn’t go as well as we hoped.

We didn’t just want any old pictures in any random place though. We wanted professional wedding photos at our stunning wedding venue in the Wirral, The Hillbark Hotel! Being such talented wedding photographers didn’t disappoint, and we now have an amazing collection of wedding images to treasure forever and to help heal the upset from our original wedding photography and the sour taste that experience left!

You can see the amazing photos and read the wedding blog that was featured on Brides Up North! You can see that post here.

Oh, and Chapter Photography also got shortlisted in The Wedding Industry Awards! How ace is that? It’s great to see them in there again this year as their work is SO amazing!
