This summer there was this tiny window where there was no torrential rain and the temperatures weren’t hitting 40 degrees.

And that tiny window was where Nicole and Tim were lucky enough to plan their city centre wedding on the roof top of The Shankly in Liverpool and I was their chosen wedding videographer!

Here’s their wedding highlights video from their summer wedding at The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool (do scroll down though to read more!)

They made it super easy for all the wedding party by all getting ready (in separate suites) at The Shankly.

Seeing as the guys didn’t have as much to do they did get to enjoy the downstairs bar whilst the girls had their hair and make-up done.

With a big Bridal party time was running away with us so I may’ve stepped in on a few occasions to help get the cute flower girls ready and keep everyone a bit more organised!

The bride was soon getting in to her dress from Cloud 9 Bridal in Liverpool and I believe the stunning blush pink bridesmaid dresses were from Liverpool Designer Kirsty Doyle.

Once Nicole was ready her Mum and Dad came in to see her (cutest hug EVER) before heading up to the famous Shankly rooftop terrace called Garden of Eden for their outdoor ceremony.

It really does have the right to boast about it’s premiere rooftop status with the breathtaking views of the city (including the famous Liver Buildings).

Nicole and Tim said their vows in front of their family and friends before walking back down the aisle and being showered with pretty pink confetti.

Things were running a little behind so it was down to their wedding photographer Wes (Wes Simpson Photography) to try and grab a few key wedding group shots on the outdoor terrace before guests were invited in to the wedding breakfast room.

Guests were wowed by the amazing wedding styling created by White Events. Complete with spinning pink blossom trees, light up letters and incredible oversized table centrepieces!

Guests enjoyed a few personal speeches before tucking in to their wedding breakfast.

Soon tensions began with a couple of the waiters. No-one needed to worry as they’d been hired as a surprise from the Bride to be their Singing Waiters from Big Events!!!

I saw a lot of relief on people’s faces that they weren’t going to ruin the day haha.

Singing (and dancing for some) over and it was time for people to enjoy the rooftop terrace whilst the staff at The Shankly Hotel got the room ready for the evening celebrations.

Wes Simpson and I managed to sneak the couple out for some more natural couple portraits in the evening light.

We even had time to wander over to St George’s Hall for 5 minutes in the gardens!

Guests then got to enjoy casino games, a selfie mirror, sweet carts and an epic evening BBQ before the Bride and Groom finally took to the dance floor…

You may notice Tim found time to get changed.

Obviously not comfy in his wedding attire he changed in to something more ‘him’ and despite it not going down well at first the music kicked in and everyone embraced it and saw the funny side!

White Events helped make it even more special with some extravagant confetti canons and they were even joined by a sax player!

It’s fair to say this wedding really did pull out all the stops to ensure guests had the most memorable day!
