Chloe was a Bridesmaid and Oli was an Usher at my last wedding of 2019 over at Wyresdale Park (you can see that fabulous wedding here: https://lovegetssweeter.co.uk/wyresdale-park-wedding-video-kath-and-adam/).
I obviously made a lasting impression (and didn’t do anything too silly) as they loved me enough to book me for their own wedding at Owen House Wedding Barn in Cheshire.
So if like me you’re all about seeing the fun from a wedding and everyone having the best time, I think you’re going to LOVE this wedding video highlights as much as I enjoyed editing it…

A Fun Yet Emotional Morning in Cheshire…
Chloe kept telling everyone they weren’t allowed to cry but the emotions and excitement buzzing around Owen House Barn that day meant the tears were hard to keep contained!
I had the pleasure of capturing all the hair, make-up and fun over with Chloe and her girls whilst Paul got to film the guys getting ready.
Typically there was lots of footage of the faff with buttonholes with the Groom’s party.
With the Brides side I love looking out for all the little moments and connections to show off what great friendships they have. I’m sure you can see that in Chloe and Oli’s video!
Once everyone was ready for the ceremony (and more emotional tears had been wiped away) it was time to make the walk down the aisle…
An Owen House Barn Ceremony
The ceremony room inside Owen House Wedding Barn is so cosy and inviting, it’s perfect for an Autumnal or Winter wedding.
Guests perched on the wooden benches gently lit by the twinkling fairy lights and warm ambient light inside the ceremony room.
The Bridesmaids made their walk first before it was Chloe’s turn with her Dad.
I LOVED capturing all the little looks and giggles during their wedding ceremony…
Wedding Videography at Owen House Barn
It was an honour to have Chloe and Oli as my first Owen House Barn couple.
I’ve had the pleasure of crossing the border in to Cheshire to attend wedding supplier events at this gorgeous countryside venue but never filmed a wedding.
I love the bespoke setting on an actual family run working farm!
Everything can be enjoyed on site too so you can enjoy the build up to the wedding day with your chosen few as well as the big day. It makes it a lot more relaxing than having to travel between venues.
Located in the heart of Cheshire countryside (in a cute village called Mobberley) this luxury and unique wedding barn is one to be considered!
Sneaking Off With The Photographer and Videographer…
I know it’s hard to pull yourself away from chatting and entertaining your wedding guests.
However, the one tip we loved from our wedding day back in 2009 is to take some time away as a couple to help slow the day down.
One great way to do this is to sneak off with your wedding photographers and videographers to get some romantic / fun / natural / candid couple shots away from your guests.
Not only do you get some time together to chat but you also get the bonus of some gorgeous wedding moments too!
At Owen House they even have a ‘Shooting Gallery’ inside one of the barns so if the weather is naff (or you LOVE a glitter ball like me) you’ve still got somewhere amazing for photos and video.
Chloe and Oli chose the ever so lovely and talented photography duo Helen Plus David as their wedding photographers. They were a pleasure to work alongside!
Wedding Speeches and Evening Celebrations
After sneaking off for some couple shots around the fields of Owen House Barn the couple headed back in to the main barn for the wedding speeches.
Chloe’s Dad went first and did a great job of sharing a few embarrassing stories as well as some nice words.
Oli was next and at the end got everyone (including my camera assistant Paul) tricked in to thinking he had bought Chloe a new puppy. Her face…haha
Then it was the turn of their three Best Men to share their stories. It was a wonderful mix of funny and emotional words which everyone loved.
After some time mingling the band were finally set up ready to welcome the newlyweds on to the dancefloor.
Guests didn’t hesitate being invited on to join them and I’m sure it remained full for the rest of the evening…
