My name is Charlene and I’m a Documentary-style family photographer and videographer living in Lancashire who loves to keep an eye out for those REAL moments for you.
I went in to the Film and TV industry straight out of college (you can find out more about that on my About Me page) and then into weddings, but it was capturing my own family life when I became a Mum in 2015 that started me on this journey of doing the same for other families like ours!
I soon realised I wanted to capture how family life felt in to moment, and not a staged/posed version of just my kids for the walls. I wanted memories I could pass down the generations…

I offer a ‘hybrid’ style of family storytelling meaning I capture both photography and video during each session. You’ll get to view and choose from a beautiful mix of natural images and a family video that tell the real story of your family at this moment in time.
This honest and candid style of family photography and videography sessions are calm and pressure-free, designed to help you and your family relax so I can capture genuine, unscripted moments. No forced smiles, just real connection and joy
There’s a simple session fee to book your shoot, and after that, you’ll be able to view your gallery of the photos and video. You can choose what you’d love to keep from there. No pressure to decide or invest until you’ve seen what I’ve captured!
What’s more, we capture your family life in the place you feel most comfortable, home! Allowing you to be in the moment, spending time together and finally having those candid moments with YOU in the frame.
I’m guessing you’re probably the photo taker too…? A phone FULL of gorgeous moments of everyone else, but having to scroll WAY back to find one with you in a photo! I know the feeling well and it’s why I can help you document more of your family life with you in it.
