I love a winter wedding and this one I was truly excited about! Suzanne and Paul had decided to go for a wedding video at the last minute after lots of friends told them they’d regret not having one-something I hear a lot! I felt so pleased to have been chosen and couldn’t wait to get started.
Their day started with rain, lots of it. Thankfully the rain couldn’t stop the smiles as I began capturing all the Bridal preparations. Scott had fun filming Paul’s family decorating his Porsche at Briars Hall in Lathom before following the Grooms party to Lathom Park Chapel for the ceremony. Winter weddings are always romantic but the intimate chapel made it even more so with all the flickering candle light (LED’s so Health and Safety didn’t get involved!)
The Bride arrived in a elegant black Rolls Royce and stepped out in her Anita Massarella gown, being careful not to get it too wet! The church ceremony was beautiful and the couple rushed out to their awaiting cars so they could head back to their home. This is where their beautiful Omskirk home had been transformed in to a winter wonderland, thanks to Mahood Marquees for customising something to fit with their landscaped garden!

The food served up by Barretts Catering was just mouthwatering, as well as being very creative, and it wasn’t long before the guests were laughing at the wedding speeches while sipping on their coffee. The evening started with their first dance to The Power of Love before the very talented Stephen Bayliss joined them to serenade their guests.
