What an evening we had! It was the event we’d all been waiting for and I was very excited to be the events official videographer! Pressure was on as I was on my own and had to balance a little networking with capturing some footage of all the fabulous people attending!

I arrived to a flurry of activity with Julia (Mrs Bride’s Up North herself), Collette (All Wrapped Up Events) and Sian (The Didsbury Flower Lounge) making Didsbury House Hotel look even more fabulous! Keith and Jenny from McAvoy Photography joined us to snap away and capture these fabulous images…

We even had time to squeeze in a little interview with Julia who chatted about the idea behind the ‘Tweet Up’ and kept us guessing about her plans for the future-even though I did try, typical interviewer! But don’t I look all professional…

Before we knew it the first guests were arriving and we made our way around the room to say ‘Hi’ and find out who all these fabulous people were. Just as I had got to know one person I turned round to see a room full of smiling faces and any nerves I had about this networking malarkey soon disappeared!

I managed to squeeze in a bit of filming in-between chatting but it proved tough! I knew I had to chat to a few new Twitter friends but it’s hard to work out who’s who! Thankfully I bumped in to Natalie and her Mum from L.O.V.E Bouquets early on, their bouquets are just stunning and I can’t recommend them enough! So easy to talk too and we had a great chat! I was amazing how nice their hands look after see the detail of their samples they brought, they must use great handcream!

But the bit got that got everyone laughing and chatting together was the photobooth. A great idea brought in by Collette and it gave everyone something to chat about on Twitter the next day! Here are a few of my favourites…

This is Natalie from L.O.V.E Bouquets and Kenny from Raw Photography.

Julia is on the right but I never got round to meeting these other lovelies, let me know who you are!!

Always the poser, Keith from McAvoy Photography and the gorgeous Joanne from Image Sweetness.

And I can’t forget the one of myself and Laura from Perfect Choice Planning. We have a few fabulous plans up our sleeve for later this year…

I hope to add the little promo film I made from what I captured at the event, however Bride’s Up North is having a few technical issues so when she’s posted her fabulous post I will add it to here!!

A big thanks to everyone who helped make this event fabulous. I can’t wait for the next one!
