It’s time to celebrate in style with Cristina and MP who are celebrating their first anniversary! We captured their beautiful wedding back in July last year and had a very long 6 and a 1/2 hour drive to the stunning Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands. The scenery on the journey was breathtaking and we knew we were in for a fantastic weekend.
You can see their cute little church just over the loch…
After enjoying a wonderful breakfast at The Old Minster I joined Cristina, her bridesmaids and family at her parents house and captured the lovely calmness that filled their home. Scott on the other hand was having a blast filming all the boys causing a riot on the Inshriach Estate. As I love to reflect the personality of each couple and their wedding day, the song I chose really did do the job as you will see for yourself!
Their ceremony took place at Loch Insh Church, the same church her parents had said their vows and was filled to the brim with excited guests. The ceremony was beautiful with readings in English and Spanish and I had to wait until I reviewed the footage to see Mark-Paul’s face when he saw the stunning bride Cristina. It literally made me melt..I love my job!
They then headed off for a spin in a friends vintage car while the guests headed up to Inshriach House where the boys had got ready that morning. They had gone for a real garden party feel with a small marquee for the canapes and even a bath tub filled with ice for the beverages! The rain tried to ruin the photos but it couldn’t dampen everyones spirits!
I’m sure a lot of you have seen Cristina and MP’s Highlights film as it’s been picked up by a few fabulous blogs, my favourite being English Wedding which is written by Claire (if you missed it you can see the post here ). Even though it’s been a whole year I still find myself watching it and love it more and more every time! I could chat through all their lovely details all day but why not take a look for yourself?
